Muskrat Cove-Willow Tree

Muskrat Cove Park is a slender riparian park that dead ends just south of Wakefield Avenue. Named for the population of muskrats that call the park home, this is the northernmost park in the Bronx, and straddles the border between Bronx County and Westchester County. This site is situated on the west bank of the river, about halfway between McLean/Nereid Avenue and Wakefield Avenue. Access to the site is possible by entering the park near the Metro-North’s Woodlawn station and walking north along the greenway.
