Kazmiroff Blvd Bridge

This site is just north of the Kazmiroff Bridge, on the border with the New York Botanical Garden. Access to this low water site is along the paths walking down from the Burke Bridge site, or directly from Allerton Avenu/e/ Kazimiroff Blvd. an island at this site divides the river into a slow, shallow stream to the east and a deeper, faster channel to the west. The eastern stream can be easily waded. The island is currently a site for a knotweed eradication research.
