Located near Burke Avenue, the bridge never actually communicated with Burke Avenue to the east, It was constructed around 1915 as one of the drives inside the NYBG. The site reverted to the Parks Department in 1939. Sampling is best done by bucket throw the bridge, but can also be accessed from the east bank just north of the bridge. Nearest Bathroom:
