Muskrat Cove is located at the border with Westchester County. The only entrance to the park is off Webster Avenue, just north of 233rd street, adjacent to the Metro North Woodlawn Train Station. Named for the aquatic mammal that is often seen in the area, it is the where water enters NYC from Westchester count through the river but also through several outfalls that enter the river near Nereid Avenue and 235th street. This site can be sampled by wading or bucket throw.
